The Puma Black Fives collection refers to the first generation of professional African American basketball players. It all began in Washington DC in 1904, when PE teacher Edwin Henderson introduced basketball to his students. Thanks to their love for the sport, history gave us legends such as Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant.
The Puma collection recalls history with two retro sneakers and an apparel collection, which is wearable in and out the B-Ball field.
Suede: leather cut from the back, while the fibers remain on the surface, suede is less prone to damage than nubuck.
Textile: The textile upper of the sneakers is lightweight, breathable and comfortable, ideal for everyday wear and sports. It ensures air circulation, keeps feet fresh and adapts to their shape. Often complemented with synthetic or rubber details for durability and support.
Rubber: The rubber outsole provides excellent grip and durability on a variety of surfaces. Thanks to its elasticity, it absorbs shock, increasing comfort when walking or running.

When you launch the adidas brand with your brother, but then you have a fall out, try creating the Puma brand. That is exactly how the German brand with the big cat in the emblem was born. Today it is one of the world's largest manufacturers of clothing and footwear, offering everything from strictly sporty gadgets to purely lifestyle sneakers and clothing. In addition, Puma likes to collaborate with well-known artists so you can add to your shoe collection or wardrobe a piece that has been designed in the hands of singer the Weeknd and Barbarian singer Rihanna.
